What is ocean punk?
Oceanpunk takes the best of steampunk and throws it into the water. Complex and counter-culture characters using sea-based technology and inhabiting a world where oceans rule: that’s usually the core premise.
In my series, I push it to the max. Kelp wine, enchanted sea glass, turtle armor, spinal flails, sea trains: it’s all here. The story
Centuries after the earth goddess Loamia and the sea god Fathus went to war, the world is now encompassed in a single ocean known as the Swell. Loamia is vanquished, and the humans who worshipped her are scattered across the surface of the waters, living on floating cities with the help of enchanted sea glass. Life is difficult, but society presses on—despite the eldritch monsters, tense relationships with the Oceanids, and the water.
But something else is coming, and it threatens to change everything forever. Again.
A new threat has emerged from the skies, and no one has an explanation. Is it an attack from the moon gods? And why? Why now?
